Kenny Bill Stinson -
Tribute to John Lennon
The Kenny Bill Stinson Band will be performing a Tribute to John Lennon as an extension of the area’s annual John Lennon Birthday Party, usually held at Enoch’s Irish Pub and Cafe in Monroe. A Beatles fanatic and accomplished musician, Kenny Bill was recently honored to play the famous piano on which John Lennon composed the song "Imagine" in 1971. The piano was sent to New Orleans as part of a project by musician George Michael and his partner Kenny Goss to help rebuild and bring awareness and a message of peace to cities hit by natural disasters. Kenny has been performing since the age of ten, and is one of the most respected guitar players/singer/ songwriters in Louisiana. He performs at the New Orleans JazzFest every year, and has been hosting the annual John Lennon Birthday Party at Enoch's Irish pub since October 1980, just before the Beatle's untimely passing. No one performs the music of the beatles like Kenny Bill!
